“Dreams” Journal

Materials:

VersaMark
inkpad

Journal kit

Stippling brush

Pigment powder (light green)

Metal “Dream” charm
- 8”
pieces of light green, yellow and multi-color purple
fiber
-
Paper trimmer
- Hole
punch

Adhesive
-
Stamps: “Bug Collage” (Inkadinkado), “Crisscross
Background” (Hero Arts)

Instructions:
- Cut 2 pieces of green cardstock to 7” x 5”.
- Using VersaMark
inkpad, stamp the “Crisscross
Background” image onto far right side of the green cardstock
(stamp three times, off-stamping the top, bottom and sides
for a seamless appearance).
- Adhere to front and back cover of the journal (punch
holes to match journal covers).
- Trim yellow cardstock to 4” square and adhere to the
cover, center between the holes on the left and the stamped
images on the right.
- Trim pale yellow cardstock to 4” square, center and
adhere to yellow cardstock.
- Using VersaMark
inkpad, stamp the “Bug Collage” image
onto white cardstock.
- Brush light green pigment powder over the entire stamped
image.
- Trim image down to 4” x 3”, center and adhere to pale
yellow cardstock.
- Attach the metal “Dream” charm to the bottom right-hand
corner of the stamped “Bug Collage” image with adhesive.
- Attach fiber grouping through top and bottom holes, from
backside. Then loop both end of the fibers through the
middle hole and secure with a knot.
